September 10th is the Teachers' Day in China, therefore, much is written about teachers in early September each year in newspapers, websites, etc.
Today I will share with you a short story. It isn't long, but it is moving enough.
In a small county in western China's Sichuan Province, a teacher lay in a river, letting students stepped on his back as a substitute for the bridge, which was damaged by floods. This scene was shot by someone and was uploaded onto the Internet. The author of this photo named it "The Broken Bridge": although the bridge was broken, the teacher's back served as a bridge to let students pass to other end of the river.
My hat off to the teacher!
