CbIP Кстати можешь ещё попытаться поставить сусу. Она идёт заточенная под ноуты и десктопы. Может она лучше подружится с Вашим оборудованием.

Почитываю

Пока хотел ещё спросить. В Убунте есть настройка "Внешний вид" - позволяет выбрать визуальные эффекты. Вотъ как она (или аналог) называется? Хотел GNOME подстроить - плавное перетаскивание, переключение между окнами. В общем, Vista-style.

Ура! 1 раз подключился к wi-fi. Потом перезагрузился - и всё. Больше подключиться пока не получаетя

Ещё возникла проблема. Хотел поставить себе compiz-fusion. Выполнил все инструкции, пытаюсь запустить. Выдаёт вотъ что:

насчёт wi-fi — конкретнее, почему не удаётся подключится? чего пишет?

насчёт компиза, дело в Checking for Composite extension: not present.

в файл /etc/X11/xorg.conf в самый коней файла добавь следующие строки:

Section "Extensions"
   Option  "Composite"	 "Enable"
EndSection

насчёт ICQ — я использую QIP, запущеный через wine

С wi-fi всё вроде ОК. Нашёл как выстать shared WEP key. Ещё проверю

С xorg'ом попробую - спасибо. Сейчас с другого компа. Только вопрос. Ничё страшного, что я сначала поставил Compiz (оригинальный), а потом Compiz-fusion?

А если без wine?

А! Ещё вопрос. Пытался запустить команды через sudo. Он пароль требует. От root'a и мой не подходят

Каждый раз как я перезагружаю комп, он всё время выключает звук. Как бы сделать так. что бы он щапомниал уровень гормкости? И подключался бы каждый раз автоматически к сетти...

Компиз наполовину запустился. Сначала всё ОК. Красивоооооо. А через несколько секнд снова пропали заголовки окон. Сейчас лог выложу.

А если запустить ещё раз, из-под ещё одной консоли - всё будет норм, только у консоли, из-под которой запущено пропадёт заголовок и ни двигать, ничго сделать с ней нельзя

Раз консоль глючит, я создал ярлык на рабочем столе. Запустил его. Заработало. Только теперь тормозит дико. И alt-tab не пашет. Из-под консоли пахало и работало быстрее.

по поводу логов — поищи в гугле по тексту ошибок «(emerald:4820): Wnck-WARNING **: Unhandled action type (nil)» и «GConf backend: There is an unsupported value at path /apps/compiz/plugins/wobbly/screen0/options/friction. по поводу асечки без вайна — qutIM

по поводу sudo — покажи содержимое файла /etc/sudoers (читается из под рута командой «cat /etc/sudoers»)

ещё хинт: при запуске compiz-manager cтавь знак «&», т.е. его будет выглядеть как «compiz-manager &», таким образом программа будет работать в фоне

Compiz пока не победил

А как сделать так. чтоюы каждый раз при загрузке уровень громкости запоминался?

Атас! У меня не куб, а шар Это где ето я так его бедного изуродовал?

И ешё аопрос: как добавть cmpiz-manager в автозапуск?

И у меня не работает буква "щ" - что делать?

А нет - уже не шар Нашёл настройку...

Наверное заюью на эти ошибки - в итоге то Compiz работает.

Всё никак не могу подобоать прогу для управления wlan. Пока ни в одной не могу выбрать номер ключа

про громкость — на форумы про компиз, я этой свистелкой не пользуюсь

про автозапуск — есть такой файлик, лежит по адресу ~/.xsession

про щ — на форумы, думаю. а где не работает? и только ли при запущенном компизе?

С быуквойя крепко лоханулся - забиндил её на хотккей - аж стыдно

Тогда ещё вопрос - как установить дрова и сконфигурировать wacom и кнопки Fujitsu? Wacom - это и есть перо. Скинь ссылку - если знаешь
